However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the role

This is a founding technical role helping build and shape Applied Intuition’s robotics organization from the ground up. You will set the technical direction for robotics software and AI, write production code, and build functional demos on physical hardware from day one. • Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for robotics and ML systems; experience with PyTorch or equivalent deep learning frameworks
  • Deep understanding of robotics fundamentals: kinematics, dynamics, control theory, state estimation, and perception
  • Experience building and evaluating visuomotor or multimodal policies end to end, from data collection through deployment
  • Ability to operate independently in an early-stage environment, make architectural decisions with limited information, and build from scratch
  • Comfort on the lab floor — debugging physical robots, running hardware-in-the-loop tests, and iterating on live systems

Nice to have:

  • Experience with state-of-the-art bi-dexterous mobile hardware platforms, including dexterous manipulation and whole body control
  • Familiarity with hardware bring-up, sensor integration, or embedded systems; ability to engage with mechanical and electrical teams at a subsystem level
  • Background in SLAM, 3D perception, or sensor fusion (IMU, lidar, cameras, force/torque)
  • Experience with physics simulators such as MuJoCo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Gazebo
  • Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 or similar robotics middleware
  • Publication record or open-source contributions in robot learning, embodied AI, or manipulation

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.

Please reference the job posting’s subtitle for where this position will be located. For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $250,000 - $400,000 USD annually.

Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

We are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join our team and help us take on tough challenges in this fast-expanding healthcare industry segment.

Join us in our mission to transform the healthcare staffing industry and improve patient lives!

The Role

At Medely, we’re transforming how healthcare professionals and facilities connect: faster, smarter, and at scale. Every experience we build helps nurses, clinicians, and hospitals focus less on logistics and more on care.

As our Staff Front End Engineer, you’ll lead the front end vision for one of our core product teams. You’ll partner with backend and mobile engineers to design elegant, performant, and scalable user experiences that power both sides of our marketplace. From architecture decisions to mentoring engineers, you’ll shape how healthcare staffing feels and functions in the modern era.

The Impact You’ll Make:

  • Act as the front end technical lead for cross-functional, agile teams building high-impact web applications.

  • Drive architecture decisions and code standards to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.

  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend partners to translate ideas into delightful, accessible, and performant interfaces.

  • Champion modern front end technologies, developer tools, and patterns to continuously evolve our stack.

  • Mentor and elevate other engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of professional front end development experience, with deep expertise of 3+ years in React (including state management, animations, and Webpack).

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks; React Native experience is a plus.

  • Proven experience leading or architecting complex, interactive applications end-to-end.

  • Passion for design systems, performance optimization, and crafting exceptional user experiences.

  • Track record of mentoring engineers and improving team culture and process.

  • Collaborative mindset - you’re equally comfortable whiteboarding solutions or rolling up your sleeves to ship them.

  • Awareness of scalability and performance considerations across browsers and devices.

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

What Will Set You Apart

  • You think beyond the code. You care about how things are built and why they matter to the user.

  • You’ve owned complex, high-traffic web applications and made measurable improvements to performance, scalability, or developer experience.

  • You have strong opinions, loosely held: you can articulate architectural decisions clearly but stay open to new ideas.

  • You find joy in details: accessibility, animation timing, responsiveness - the subtle things that turn a good UI into a great one.

Why Medely: Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive Compensation: Based on experience and performance

  • Long-term Incentives: 401k

  • Healthcare Benefits: Full suite of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Flexibility: We believe that work/life balance is important, so we offer flexible and unlimited PTO

  • Paid parental leave

  • Purpose: Join a growing mission-oriented startup that is modernizing the healthcare industry nationally!

  • Ownership: Drive meaningful business impact on a team you’ll help build and define!

  • Remote: Work in a digital environment with all the tools to achieve your work as though you were in the office!

We’re an equal opportunity employer to all. We interview and hire applicants of all backgrounds, orientations, expressions, and identities.

Work location is flexible if approved by Medely.

Medely does not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies. We consider any resume (CV) or biography received from an agency or outside recruiter without prior approval from a member of the Medely Human Resources or Recruiting team to be unsolicited and gratuitous, and such submissions will not be recognized by Medely for purposes of “ownership” of the candidate.

Lead Posted about 24 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Slovenia
URL: http://bunny.net

Staff Software Engineer (Magic Containers)

Magic Containers is bunny.net’s edge-native platform for running containerized applications. It’s fast, flexible, and free from traditional cloud complexity. No Kubernetes. No YAML jungles. Just a simple, powerful way to deploy and scale apps globally with minimal setup.

It’s already running in production, powering real workloads, and we’re ready to take it further.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll help evolve a platform that’s built for developers, with great DX, simple operations, and rock-solid reliability. You’ll work fast, ship often, and have a real voice in shaping the future of how containers run at the edge.

You’re a technical leader who shapes how we build at scale. You solve problems that cross teams, connect technical and business strategy, and make others better through influence, clarity, and mentorship. You set direction, not just follow it. And you leave every system and team stronger than you found them.

You won’t do it alone. You’ll work with people who challenge what’s possible and take pride in doing things well.

If this sounds like the kind of infrastructure you’d want to help others build with, we’d love to hear from you.

What will you do?

  • Build and evolve the core of our edge-native container platform - Magic Containers and shape how developers build at the edge

  • Multiply your impact by setting standards, mentoring engineers, and improving both code quality and team-wide knowledge

  • Proactively spot opportunities to improve the platform, processes, or developer experience and drive those improvements end-to-end

  • Lead cross-team efforts, whether it’s scaling orchestration systems, improving global observability, or driving company-wide migrations and technology shifts

  • Align technical direction across teams by collaborating on specs, guiding architecture, and connecting engineering decisions to business goals

  • Debug and resolve complex production issues, including those reported by customers

  • Own outcomes end to end: not just shipping features, but delivering systems that solve real customer problems at scale

  • Set a high bar for what great looks like in code quality, system design, and how we support what we build in production

What will you bring?

  • 5+ years of experience with C# or a strong willingness to switch to it

  • Deep understanding of containers (cgroups, namespaces, runtimes) and how they work under the hood

  • Proven experience building and operating distributed systems across global infrastructure, especially those designed for global scale, low latency, or edge environments

  • Strong Linux systems knowledge and comfort working close to the OS

  • Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including routing protocols, load balancing strategies, and distributed traffic patterns

  • Familiarity with time-series or analytical databases like ClickHouse or InfluxDB

  • Sharp debugging skills and the ability to diagnose complex production issues

  • Experience leading cross-team or company-wide technical initiatives, guiding architecture, and mentoring engineers

  • Understanding of observability best practices: including logging, metrics, and health monitoring for distributed systems

  • Clear, thoughtful communication: you write great docs, explain trade-offs, and build alignment

  • A customer-first mindset focused on outcomes, long-term reliability, and continuous improvement

  • A desire to help others grow and a habit of leading by example in how you write and review code

What will make us extra happy?

  • High-level understanding of Anycast: how it works, and how it impacts global routing, performance, and failover

  • You’ve worked on sandboxing or container security (e.g. gVisor, Kata Containers)

  • You’ve improved developer experience or infrastructure usability at scale

  • Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka

  • Hands-on with Redis, etcd, or other distributed key-value stores

  • You've used bunny.net products or have experience with edge compute/CDN platforms

  • You contribute to open source or share knowledge publicly (talks, posts, docs)

  • You care deeply about developer experience and are thoughtful about the systems you design

  • You bring curiosity, care, and energy to your work, and to the people around you

Not sure if you check every box?

That’s okay. We care more about how you think and what you’ve built than perfect credentials. If this work sounds exciting and you're ready to grow, we want to hear from you.

Where should you be located?

This job is fully remote from Europe (ideally CET or close time zone) with a flexible schedule, to make our collaboration easier. You’re still free to hop around the world and switch up your scenery whenever you want.

What's in it for you?

Life at bunny.net comes with benefits that make work (and life) better.

  • 100% flexible hours - Your work, your rhythm. Whether you thrive at 3 am or on a beach at noon, we've got you.

  • Remote-first by design - No offices, no commute, just the freedom to work anywhere. Miss the office? We’ll give you a 3-night voucher for visiting our headquarters.

  • Performance-based bonuses - Great work pays off, and we reward impact annually.

  • Paid time off - Love the slopes or the sea? Enjoy them with 25 vacation days, plus an extra loyalty day each year, capped at 5 years (30 days total), on top of your local public holidays.

  • Meeting-free Thursdays - We keep Thursdays meeting free internally so you can focus on deep work without interruptions.

  • Home office budget - We believe everyone is more efficient working in a comfortable office, and we're happy to help you set it up with an annual budget of €500.

  • Paid sick leave - Feeling ill? Take time off to fully recover without having to worry about your finances.

  • Parental leave - Paid 16 weeks for birthing parents, 8 weeks for non-birthing parents. If your country gives more, that’s your baseline. If it gives less, we top it up. Take your leave all at once or split it across the first year for maximum flexibility. After paid leave, your local statutory rules apply.

  • Annual fluffle-building - We're remote, but not distant! Once a year, we meet in a sunny location where virtual high-fives turn into real ones.

  • Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) - Everyone at bunny.net gets a piece of the pie, starting with 0.01% equity.

  • Mental health support - Feeling down? We've got your back. bunny.net provides mental health resources and help via BetterHelp.com.

  • Wellness budget - An annual well-being budget of €480 is here to help you stay fresh and focused.

  • Educational budget - €500 yearly for books, seminars, or online courses to keep your learning on track, work-related or not.

Engineer Principal Data Architect & Engineer at Carolinas Investment Consulting

Principal engineer designs and builds enterprise data platforms, architectures, and pipelines at scale while leading technical strategy for AI-driven healthcare products.

Lead Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Our healthcare system is the leading cause of personal bankruptcy in the U.S. Every year, over 50 million Americans suffer adverse financial consequences as a result of seeking care, from lower credit scores to garnished wages. The challenge is only getting worse, as high deductible health plans are the fastest growing plan design in the U.S.

Cedar’s mission is to leverage data science, smart product design and personalization to make healthcare more affordable and accessible. Today, healthcare providers still engage with its consumers in a “one-size-fits-all” approach; and Cedar is excited to leverage consumer best practices to deliver a superior experience.

Principal Data Architect & Engineer

Why this Job?

Cedar is at a pivotal moment in its technical evolution. We are evolving towards a brand-new, enterprise data platform and model, architected specifically to power the future of Cedar’s product offerings. As the Principal Data Architect, you will be the senior technical authority leading this transition, ensuring our new data foundation is clean, scalable, and cleanly separated from legacy debt.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an engineer who loves building production systems at scale and views AI as a massive accelerator for both personal and team productivity.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect the Future-State Data Model & Storage: Lead the design and execution of a new, high-scale data model and storage architecture that lives outside our legacy monolith. You will drive decisions on service boundaries, data ownership, and storage patterns—implementing Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) to ensure progressive data quality refinement—while defining the API contracts that will anchor Cedar’s data strategy for years to come. This includes real-time event-driven pipelines and streaming architectures alongside batch analytics.
  • Ensure Metrics Reliability: Own the accuracy and reliability of Cedar’s core business metrics including collection rate, days in AR, and invoice balance tracking. Design validation frameworks that ensure our source of truth remains consistent across all reporting and product surfaces.
  • Power Intelligent Agents: Build the real-time data foundations that power Cedar’s AI-driven products, ensuring agents, like Kora, have the context, entity graphs, and metrics they need to act autonomously in revenue cycle workflows and transform the patient experience.
  • Design for the Future: Design data models for new product lines that expand Cedar’s presence across the full revenue cycle from pre-service through post-service collections.
  • Build Production Code: You are a hands-on builder. You will write, ship, and maintain high-quality production code alongside our team of Data Engineers. You will personally model critical domains and implement the core patterns that the rest of the team will follow.
  • Guide and Mentor Engineers: Act as the technical role model for a team of Data Engineers. You will raise the bar for engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews, design guidance, and technical mentorship, turning every challenge into a growth opportunity for the team.
  • Collaborate: Drive technical alignment across data engineering, platform, and product teams, set priorities, unblock dependencies, and ensure delivery against customer-facing commitments.
  • Steward Data Integrity: Define and enforce standards for Cedar’s enterprise Data Dictionary and metadata strategy. You will partner with engineering and product to ensure data is accurate, discoverable, and synchronized across all environments.

What You Bring

  • Strategic Technical Authority: 10+ years of experience in data engineering and backend systems at scale. You have experience leading large technical projects with a high accountability mentality, focused on delivering value, with a proven track record of shipping production enterprise systems that customers depend on.
  • Modern Stack Mastery: Deep, hands-on proficiency with a wide range of data and engineering technologies and patterns such as Snowflake, dbt, Liquibase, Fivetran, Airflow, OpenMetadata, Kafka, SQL, Python, Kafka, streaming/event driven architectures, CDC (Change Data Capture), and real-time data processing. You have built production-grade ELT/ETL pipelines and managed complex data transformations in cloud-first environments.
  • Metrics & Integrity Focus: Experience building “source of truth” systems and a passion for data accuracy. You understand how to define and audit key business metrics to ensure they remain resilient to system changes. You have experience with data validation and reconciliation, comparing pipeline output against source systems and methodically diagnosing discrepancies.
  • ML/AI Fuel: You have experience building data APIs, context systems, or feature stores that power downstream ML/AI applications.
  • Architectural Judgment: You can spot over-engineering and under-engineering with equal confidence. You know how to design for resilience, modularity, and backwards compatibility. You prefer incremental milestones over big bang deliverables.
  • Clear Communication: You can translate complex technical risks and trade-offs into business-relevant terms for senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • AI-Native Workflow: You are an avid learner in general, and an adopter of AI engineering tools like Claude Code and Codex. You have experience directing AI agents to generate complete, high-quality solutions and apply your judgment to test and own the output.
  • [highly preferred] Healthcare Domain Expertise: Demonstrable understanding of healthcare concepts, including revenue cycle management (RCM), billing, and insurance adjudication.

Compensation Range and Benefits

  • Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $246,500 - $311,750
  • This role is equity eligible
  • This role offers a competitive benefits and wellness package

*Subject to location, experience, and education

What do we offer to the ideal candidate?

  • A chance to improve the U.S. healthcare system at a high-growth company! Our leading healthcare financial platform is scaling rapidly, helping millions of patients per year
  • Unless stated otherwise, most roles have flexibility to work from home or in the office, depending on what works best for you
  • For exempt employees: Unlimited PTO for vacation, sick and mental health days–we encourage everyone to take at least 20 days of vacation per year to ensure dedicated time to spend with loved ones, explore, rest and recharge
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave with health benefits for all parents, plus flexible re-entry schedules for returning to work
  • Diversity initiatives that encourage Cedarians to bring their whole selves to work, including three employee resource groups: be@cedar (for BIPOC-identifying Cedarians and their allies), Pridecones (for LGBTQIA+ Cedarians and their allies) and Cedar Women+ (for female-identifying Cedarians)
  • Competitive pay, equity (for qualifying roles), and health benefits, including fertility & adoption assistance, that start on the first of the month following your start date (or on your start date if your start date coincides with the first of the month)
  • Cedar matches 100% of your 401(k) contributions, up to 3% of your annual compensation
  • Access to hands-on mentorship, employee and management coaching, and a team discretionary budget for learning and development resources to help you grow both professionally and personally

About us

Cedar was co-founded by Florian Otto and Arel Lidow in 2016 after a negative medical billing experience inspired them to help improve our healthcare system. We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.

Why Box needs You

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Core Experience organization, supporting both backend and frontend engineering across our Warsaw and Redwood City sites. This is a high-impact, hands-on senior individual contributor role for someone who wants to design complex systems and see them through to production in a customer-facing domain.

You will help shape the technical direction of a large-scale, customer-facing platform - breaking out of our monolith, modernizing our backend and frontend architectures, and leading the organization toward strong continuous integration and DevOps practices. You will also champion AI adoption across the organization - enabling teams to use AI in their day-to-day engineering operations and building agents that accelerate the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will ensure that systems are not only well-designed, but built, shipped, and operating reliably at scale.

What You’ll do

  • Build Critical Systems

    • Own the architecture of key backend and frontend systems within Core Experiences.
    • Lead the implementation of high-impact components end-to-end.
    • Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and observable from day one.
  • Drive Execution at Scale

    • Partner with engineering teams across Warsaw and Redwood City to turn architecture into working systems.
    • Lead delivery of large, cross-team initiatives with measurable business impact.
    • Balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability in real-world tradeoffs.
  • Set Technical Direction

    • Establish patterns, frameworks, and standards that enable teams to move faster.
    • Translate business priorities into clear technical roadmaps.
    • Identify risks early and guide teams toward pragmatic solutions.
  • Enable AI in Engineering

    • Enable teams across Core Experiences to apply AI in their day-to-day engineering operations — coding, code review, testing, debugging, documentation, and incident response.
    • Design and build agents that support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design and implementation through code review, testing, deployment, and operations.
    • Establish best practices, guardrails, and reusable patterns for safe and effective AI usage in engineering workflows.
    • Evaluate and integrate AI tooling (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, internal Box AI capabilities) into the team’s standard development workflow.
    • Measure and continuously improve developer productivity and code quality through AI-driven workflows.
  • Influence & Mentor

    • Collaborate across geographies and functions to align on architecture and execution.
    • Mentor senior and staff engineers in system design, implementation, and effective use of AI in engineering.
    • Contribute to a culture of strong ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ship Code

    • Be hands-on in prototyping and contributing production-grade code across the stack.

What You’ll tackle in the first 6-12 months

  • Lead the effort to break our backend and frontend out of the monolith into modern, modular, and maintainable architectures.
  • Drive the organization’s adoption of continuous integration and DevOps best practices, raising the bar for build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Roll out AI-assisted engineering practices across Core Experiences — enabling teams to use AI in their day-to-day work and embedding it into coding, review, and operational workflows.
  • Design and ship agents that support the SDLC (e.g., code generation, automated review, test authoring, release readiness, on-call assistance) and demonstrate measurable productivity gains.
  • Define how we build products going forward — including tooling, workflows, and architectural patterns shared across Warsaw and Redwood City.
  • Set up frameworks for effective cross-site, cross-functional collaboration between backend and frontend engineers.
  • Balance rapid delivery with long-term technical investments to ensure Core Experiences scales with enterprise-grade performance, security, and maintainability.

Who You Are

  • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience across backend and frontend.
  • 5+ years leading complex, cross-team technical initiatives.
  • Ability to operate at both high-level architecture and low-level execution.
  • Proven track record of designing and shipping distributed systems at scale.
  • Hands-on experience breaking monoliths into service-oriented or modular architectures.
  • Strong experience driving continuous integration, CD, and DevOps practices across engineering organizations.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) and integrating them into team workflows; experience designing or building LLM-powered agents for engineering use cases is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with modern AI/agent frameworks, prompt engineering, evaluation, and safe deployment of AI in production engineering workflows.
  • Experience aligning cross-functional and cross-site stakeholders around architecture decisions.
  • Pragmatic decision-making: you balance ideal design with real-world constraints.
  • Passionate about mentoring and building a strong engineering culture.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid, globally distributed environment; able to travel to the U.S. at least twice a year for team off-sites.

Other information

  • Level positioning: Individual contributor, Director-equivalent
  • Reporting line: Engineering Director, Core Experiences (Warsaw)
  • Role location: Warsaw-based, partnering closely with Redwood City
  • Core Experience Eng team locations: Poland and US (Warsaw and Redwood City)
  • In-office requirements: 3 days per week, Tuesdays–Thursdays
